Compulsory Care
We have extensive experience and expertise in all types of compulsory care cases, including the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), the Care of Substance Abusers Act (LVM), and the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT).
In such cases, we represent you as court-appointed counsel and ensure that your rights are protected.
We assist you, among other things, by:
- explaining the process and the implications of compulsory care
- reviewing the case materials and ensuring that decisions meet legal standards
- representing you at hearings before the administrative court
- providing advice and support throughout the process
Compulsory care cases may involve significant interference in an individual’s life. Our role is to ensure that legal requirements are complied with and that you are treated fairly and lawfully.
Counsel for injured parties is appointed by the district court and is generally free of charge for you.
